House Rules
WELCOME – OUR HOUSE RULES
Dear guests,
We are delighted to welcome you to our cozy log cabin! Our goal is to ensure you have a relaxing and restful stay. We kindly ask you to observe the following rules so that our house remains a place of well-being for you and future guests.
Chalet
Please treat our log cabin with the same care and respect as you would your own home. If anything breaks or does not work properly, please let us know so that we can help you quickly. Unfortunately, any damage that we discover after your departure will have to be deducted from your deposit.
To ensure that all guests can enjoy our garden furniture for a long time, we ask you to store the sun loungers, parasols, and hammocks (on the upper terrace) safely in the evening and when it rains. Thank you for your support!
Smoking
Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere in the house—not even on the terrace on the first floor, the balcony, or in the entrance area.
Please use only the designated smoking area with an ashtray on the terrace on the ground floor.
Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground or the lawn – this will keep it nice for everyone.
Pets
Because we know how nice it is to travel with a wet nose, we also welcome your four-legged friends. To ensure that everyone feels comfortable, we ask you to note the following:
- The garden is only fully fenced in during the summer. In winter, the gate could be removed for snow clearance.
- Please keep your dog on a leash outside the garden (the scents of the forest have tempted many curious noses).
- Please remove any waste – around the house and on your walks.
- Your dog wants to enjoy the vacation too – don’t leave your furry friend alone in the house.
- Dogs are of course allowed to move freely around the house, but NOT on the beds or the couch!
Guests & Occupancy
The house is available exclusively to the guests specified at the time of booking. Subletting or more people than agreed are not permitted.
Maximum occupancy: 6 adults and, depending on age, 2-3 children.
Night-Time Quiet
Food & Sustainability
Please take any food you have brought with you (opened and unopened) with you when you leave. As the next guests usually arrive well equipped, we have no use for it. Unfortunately, there is also no possibility of donating it or similar in the immediate vicinity.
What else you can do to contribute to sustainability:
- Feel free to use the shopping boxes provided
- Proper waste separation
- Mindful use of light, energy and water
Winter & Snow Clearance
During the winter months, guests are responsible for clearing snow. Please ensure that both the driveway and the paths around the house are regularly cleared of snow and ice to ensure safety for everyone.
Upon request, an external person can be hired to clear the snow – the costs for this are borne by the guests themselves. Please feel free to contact us.
Electricity Consumption
Electricity consumption is included in the stay for normal, household use.
Charging electric cars, e-bikes, or similar vehicles or batteries is not permitted.
The usual electricity consumption has been averaged for full occupancy and serves as a guideline. The electricity meter is read regularly. If consumption significantly exceeds normal household levels, we reserve the right to charge the additional costs separately.
We will be happy to provide you with information about nearby charging stations.
Waste Separation
- Black bin – residual waste
- Yellow bag – Tetra Paks, plastic packaging and aluminium
- Compost heap – RAW compostable food waste only (NO MEAT!!)

- Check-in is from 2:30 PM. We look forward to welcoming you in person and are happy to answer any questions.
- Check-out is by 9:30 AM. Please leave the house tidy and swept clean. Please let us know your planned departure time.
