In winter, you can reach the Steinbergbahn gondola on skis after just a short 100-meter walk. From there, you’ll have direct access to the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski area – one of the largest in Austria, with over 270 km of slopes, 70 lifts, and 60 cozy mountain huts.

The Blockhaus Wallisch can be reached by car, train or bus. Leogang railway station is 1.5 km away, and Saalfelden railway station is 8.5 km from the log cabin. The nearest airport is in the city of Salzburg, 72 km away, and Munich Airport is 180 km away.
